Lebron James highlights Tuesday night's Five game showcase finishing with a triple-double against the New York Knicks. James finished with a game high 28 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. After last night's contest, he is now 89 points away from passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time leading scorer record. Abdul Jabbar's record has stood for nearly 39 years! In other news around the league, reining MVP, and Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic continues to show why he deserves MVP again this season. Last night Jokic finished with his 16th triple double this season against the New Orleans Pelicans with 26 points, 15 assists and 18 rebounds. The Nuggets remain undefeated when Jokic has a triple-double this season! All-star Jimmy Butler leads the Miami Heat over the red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers with a 23-point outing while adding five assists in a 100-97 win. Going out to the Midwest, former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Charlotte Hornets. Antetokounmpo finished with 34 points, 18 rebounds and four assists in a 124-115 win. In a losing effort rising star, Lamelo Ball had a dominating outing across the board finishing with 27 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds, three blocks and three steals. It was the eighth triple-double of his career! In the final game of last night's 5 game showcase, Kawhi Leonard had 33 points, five steals and five assists in the Clippers’ victory over the Chicago Bulls. It was Leonard’s sixth 30-point game of the month. It is honestly great to see Leonard getting back to his old All-star form after returning to the team from his injury last season. To my readers, what was your favorite highlight of tonight's five game showcase? And how long do you think it will take Lebron James to pass the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the all-time scoring record?
