The Lakers defeated the Timberwolves in a game that both teams went back and forth. The most exciting moment of the game was when Anthony Davis fouled former All-star Mike Conley while he attempted a three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left and the Lakers up three. Conley hit all three free throws, sending the game to overtime. But the Lakers would prevail behind Lebron’s 30 points. James is still showing why he is still the one the greatest in the 108-102 victory over the short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA's play-in tournament Tuesday night. Dennis Schroder scored 21 points and iced the win with two free throws with 8.4 seconds left for the Lakers, who will face second-seeded Memphis in the first round starting Sunday. I wonder how the game would have gone if Rudy Gobert player but of course he was suspended for the play in due to the punch he through at Kyle Anderson. What do you all think NBA Fans? Atlanta also picked up the victory vs the Miami heat as Udonis Haslem played his last NBA game. Led by Trae Young's 25 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists, the Hawks defeated the Heat, 116-105. Clint Capela added four points, 21 rebounds, and two blocks for the Hawks in the victory, while Kyle Lowry led all scorers with 33 points (6-9 3pt FG), four rebounds, and five assists for the Heat. With the victory, the Hawks have secured the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference of the 2023 NBA Playoffs where they will face the No. 2 seed Celtics, while the Heat will play the winner of tomorrows Toronto Raptors-Chicago Bulls Play-In Game, with the winner securing the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference of the 2023 NBA Playoffs.
