As of yesterday, All-star Ja Morant is officially out indefinity. If you remember our last discussion about Ja Morant, you remember me saying the NBA was suspending him indefinitely (50 games) if they found that the gun was in his possession on the plane. Although they have not looked into the evidence further if Morant had the gun on the plane, Ja Morant has decided to take mental health counseling deeming himself out indefinitely. There is no timetable for his return to the team. It was said due to this incident and the ongoing slander of the incident on social media platforms, he felt like he was in a "dark place". How do you all feel about this situation. I feel that we have to remember people are human and also that kids look up to him. If we were talked about the way, he is talked about now on social media and by police investigating we would be in a dark place as well. So I feel for Ja and I hope he gets the help he deserves. Memphis is currently 41-26 in the absecese of Ja and still 2nd in the west. This has been due to Dillion Brooks taken over the scoring role for them as well as him getting help from Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr.. Thoughts?
