This past week of basketball was nothing short of amazing! It started off highlighted by LeBron James passing Kareem Abdul Jabbar as the all-time leading scorer against the Oklahoma City Thunder. James eclipsed Abdul-Jabbar with 11 seconds left in the 3rd quarter, with a drive to the left fadeaway. Although, it was a momentous occasion because of James eclipsing the record, they would lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder 133-130 behind Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 30 points. In other news around the league, due to the trade deadline coming up, many veteran players were dealt. l am sure if you have been following the NBA you saw some of these crazy trades. If so, what was your favorite Trade? please feel free to comment your favorite trade. My favorite was the D'Angelo Russell back to Lakers! I feel like this was exactly what the Lakers were missing; a scoring Point guard who can also playmaker. That trade was a 3-team trade that included: Russell Westbrook and Mike Conley. Mike Conly was shipped to Minnesota and Russell Westbrook was shipped to the Utah Jazz. This was beneficial for the Jazz and T-Wolves as well. Mike Conly will allow rising star and recently selected all-star, Anthony Edwards to flourish as a scorer. Russell will be able to come in and start for Utah and I hope to see him get back to his MVP type form. As we all know the All-star lineups came out who do you feel was snubbed?
